Hey, I'm Victoria

I'm 22 years old. I live in Philadelphia, PA with my mom and sister. I've been writing since I was in the 6th grade and I don't think I'll ever stop telling stories. I find it hard to finish reading most books but there's nothing like polishing your own ending.
I currently work at a movie theater, but I'm hoping all of that will change once I get the second Ruby Darkness book out in the world.

I've literally tries everything there is to do...

  • When I was a young kid, I played soccer and failed at it. I played the first game without shin guards and I was the goaly.
  •  Shortly after that, I went to a camp with horses, (maybe I could have been a jockey) epic fail. All we did was clean poop and feed the horses.
  • Then, I started writing Ruby Darkness, very slow progress.
  • So, I moved onto bigger and better things, I joined four different bands. The first one (Spin The Bottle) didn't work out. Neither did the next one, (All the things we do wrong) or the one after that, (Back Alley Gettaway) but the fourth one (Sounds Like Poseidon) almost had a chance.
  • Then, I continued Ruby Darkness (in the complete opposite direction) and put it down after three months of constant typing to start a new book.
  • Soon after that, I lifted my fingers off the keys and use them to play cards....not just any cards though, Tarot cards....yeah! I briefly dabbled in the dark arts. And I'll admit, I was no Harry Potter, so I quit.
  • And moved onto the Roller Derby...but I'd rather not talk about that one.
  • I thought I really found myself when I took up  acting classes downtown. I was a pretty good actress. I was in one run through of a play before I realized that I wasn't meant to express stories, I was meant to tell them.
  • AND that was my lightbulb moment. I finished Ruby Darkness within three months, going only 3 weeks past deadline. I found a pretty awesome Editor and an amazing Illustrator for the cover and then self-published for e-Readers
  • Now, here I am, TBC
